Where did the Shoop Shift Leadership Awards come from?

The Shoop Shift Leadership Awards came about as an idea after a couple years of working with clients in my business.  As we got deeper into what really makes lasting changes in the workplace, I would often hear how happy people were that they made the changes necessary, but man it was a lot of work.  Totally worth it, but a lot of work.  I agree.  It is much easier to sit back and blame the system, blame the boss/the team/the economy you name it.  It takes effort to decide to put other people first and lead from the heart without holding back (or full throttle as I like to say).  It takes a shift away from what is unfortunately considered normal in the workplace and pour into others so that everyone gains through working together.

We do not live to work, we work to live and serve.  So the softer side, the people side, the non-technical getting stuff done side, is really where the magic of getting great results and reaching peak success come from.
